In June 23th, 2015, President Xi Jinping talked with the president of Indonesia Joko Widodo on phone.
Xi Jinping stressed, China and Indonesia are sincere friends, good partners. The Chinese construction of "Twenty-first Century Sea Silk Road" concept is highly fit with Indonesian build a "global ocean fulcrum" planning. We agreed that the two sides should accelerate the development of strategic docking, determine the priority of economic and trade cooperation projects as soon as possible, to achieve mutual benefit and win-win. China is willing to strengthen cooperation in capacity, power, steel, shipbuilding, building materials, photovoltaic, finance and other fields with Indonesia. China has fully confidence of development potential and prospects in Indonesia, willing to continue to expand investment in Indonesia.
Joko said Indonesia attaches great importance to developing relations with china. I met with President Xi Jinping many times and reach an important consensus on the development of bilateral relations. I am very happy that the two governments concerned departments are working together to implement these consensus. Indonesia is in an important period of development, and look forward to further strengthen cooperation with China in various fields.
